Fabio Perrone is a costumer designer.
His Background
Italian, born in Taranto, Fabio Perrone moved to Paris, France nearly twenty years ago. He has been living and working there as a costume designer ever since.
Although his studies were in Architecture (Doctoral Thesis, Milan Polytechnic ("Politecnico di Milano"), School of Architecture, 1983), Fabio changed course and decided to become a fashion designer upon finishing school.
After a first job at "Bessana Tissus" in Milan, Fabio created his own fashion house, Agora Haute Couture, in 1984.
Early on however, Fabio discovered his true passion lie not in fashion but rather in costumes and costume design.
Experience
Since 1990, Fabio Perrone has worked on over sixty feature films, operas, theater plays, as well as television films, television series, and commercials.
He has had the privilege of being a team member on film and theater crews for directors such as: Manoel de Oliveira, Michel Hazanavicius, Raoul Ruiz, Mario Andreacchio, Jacques Audiard, Claude Berri, Claude Chabrol, Patrick Volson, Charlotte Brandstrom, Gérard Mordillat, Louis-Do de Lencquesaing…
